If you want to work in the corporate driver training market this course will prepare you correctly to have the confidence to work within the fleet and company car driver market. If you intend to work for a fleet training company most will require that you have a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) fleet badge. Holders of a fleet training licence are required to present a qualified driver when being check tested by the DSA.
Driver Training Educations (DTE)Fleet Trainer Course is a 4 day course, and will get you direct access on to the DSA fleet register*. The course is aimed at trainers wanting to move into the corporate fleet training market. Those successfully completing the course will be eligible for work with many fleet training companies and will add valuable additional income streams to their portfolio of training courses. This course will guide you through the topics necessary for you to be competent in working with companies and their drivers. We will also look at the fleet market and what you can do with your badge.
The course is run by Dave Foster himself who is a fleet trainer who has trained in companies such as British Gas, Royal Mail, Audit Commission and now works with TTC2000 delivering speed and NDAC courses.
¨ You must already be a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) on the DSA register
¨ Be of very smart appearance.
¨ A good knowledge of the Highway Code is essential and will be assessed throughout the course.
Holders of a fleet training licence are required to present a qualified driver when being check tested by the DSA.
* DSA accreditation is held with the DIA with Driver Training Education. Your certificate and badge will be in your name and you are free to work for whoever you wish. Driver Training Education or New Driver may invite you to work for their fleet training companies and you are free to choose this option or not.
